Tasting Notes & Characteristics
A deep, almost opaque garnet hue gives way to an intense, layered nose. Expect powerful aromas of cassis, blackberry, and dark chocolate, complemented by elegant spice, cedarwood, and a hint of mint. This is a wine of exceptional pedigree, aged exclusively in new French oak.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and seamlessly structured. The tannins are rich, beautifully integrated, and chalky, providing the backbone for its concentrated dark fruit. A vibrant acidity ensures freshness and longevity, making it a stellar addition to any cellar.
Food & Wine Match
- Serving Temperature: 16-18°C. Allow to breathe (decant) for a minimum of two hours.
- Pairing: The perfect companion to a traditional Sunday Roast or a sophisticated dinner party main course.
