As the second label of the renowned Château d’Aiguilhe, owned by the Comtes von Neipperg, SEIGNEURS D’AIGUILHE represents a fantastic entry point to premium Right Bank Bordeaux. It is born from the same high-quality clay-limestone plateau in the Castillon – Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, offering a wine that is both complex and delightfully drinkable.

Merlot-dominant, with a splash of Cabernet Franc, this wine is made to express the vibrant fruit character of the vintage. It’s a structured, yet generous claret that punches well above its weight, embodying the elegance and finesse expected from a Neipperg-managed estate.

Tasting Notes

• Colour: A rich, deep ruby-garnet.
• Nose: Generous aromas of dark plum, blackcurrant, and cherry, beautifully integrated with subtle notes of spice, cedar, and a hint of liquorice.
• Palate: Medium to full-bodied, with a smooth, round mouthfeel and fine, well-integrated tannins. The fruit is intense and concentrated, leading to a balanced, savoury, and persistent finish.

Pairing & Serving

A classic choice for Sunday roasts, game dishes, or a good old Shepherd’s Pie. Serve slightly below room temperature (16-18°C) and consider a short decanting period to allow the aromas to fully open.
