Hailing from Bordeaux’s prestigious Right Bank, Château Nénin stands out in the Pomerol appellation for its considerable scale and the quality of its clay and gravel soils. The Delon family, also owners of Léoville Las Cases, have meticulously refined this estate to produce a wine that perfectly balances Merlot’s lush, velvety texture with the structure and freshness of Cabernet Franc. Tasting Notes

• Color: Vibrant, deep ruby-garnet.
• Nose: Intensely aromatic, featuring an initial burst of dark berries, red cherry, and plum, followed by complex secondary notes of forest floor, cigar box, and the signature hint of truffle.
• Palate: Rich and round, yet beautifully structured. The tannins are fine-grained and persistent, providing the framework for the concentrated fruit and earthy complexity. A wine of great length and ageing potential, representing the classic, enduring style of Pomerol.
