Château de Targé presents a premium example of Saumur-Champigny, one of the Loire Valley’s most celebrated red wine appellations. This 100% Cabernet Franc is grown on the famous Tuffeau chalk, resulting in a wine that is at once rich, complex, and beautifully elegant. It is a true reflection of its historic terroir.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Possesses a lovely, bright garnet-red colour.
• Nose: Rich and appealing, offering a complex blend of dark cherry and cassis fruit, with spicy undertones and the subtle herbaceous note characteristic of high-quality Cabernet Franc.
• Palate: Smooth on the entry, the palate is medium-bodied with fine, silky tannins and a refreshing acidity. It delivers persistent fruit flavours and a long, balanced finish.

A gastronomic wine with superb structure, making it perfect for pairing with hearty, traditional British fare.

• Serving Suggestion: Best served slightly below room temperature at 15-16°C (59-61°F).
