Tasting Notes (Château Carbonnieux Red)

- Nose: Elegant and expressive, offering layers of black fruit (cassis, black cherry) complemented by classic secondary notes of pencil lead, toasted spice, and a hint of forest floor.
- Palate: Full and well-defined, with a seamless, structured core. The tannins are fine and velvety, providing an authoritative yet smooth mouthfeel. The finish is long, clean, and unmistakably ‘Claret’.

- Ageing Potential: Excellent, a wine to lay down and enjoy over the next two decades.
