This is a wine of immense depth, marrying power with grace. Messorio is often cited as one of Italy’s best Merlots, delivering a thrilling combination of new-world fruit and old-world structure.

• Colour: Inky, deep ruby with violet glints.
• Aroma: Rich and complex, displaying layers of black plum, damson, sweet spice, cardamom, and toasted oak. Subtle notes of new leather and dried herbs emerge on aeration.
• Palate: Full and generous, the mouthfeel is both concentrated and supple. Fine-grained tannins provide a tight, layered structure, leading to a long, savoury finish with a compelling minerality and notes of baker’s chocolate and tobacco leaf.
• Service: Highly recommend decanting for at least two hours before serving at cellar temperature (18°C).
